NHRIS, which is also known as the National Human Resource Information System is basically an intersection between human resources under the Ministry of Health and Information Technology. This allows HR activities and processes to occur electronically.
This Solution was developed in 2018.
NHRIS can be viewed using the URL http://hrms.health.gov.lk and the hyperlink is provided in the official website of The Ministry of health.
NHRIS assists with managing people, automating manual tasks, and keeping information orderly under 4 main modules namely HRM, Administration, Report and Attendance management system (AMS).
There are 124711 active employees are registered and several user roles are defined to provide Role Based permission levels in the NHRIS. Every user has to insert the username and password to log on to the system. A number of reports are generated through the system to improve decision-making. AMS is currently not in use in the Ministry of Health.
Training sessions on NHRIS are conducted islandwide to make users engage more with the system, with less frustration, and are more likely to become long-term users.
